About the Journal

Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar Islam (JIPDI) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Primary Madrasah Teacher Education Program (PGMI), STAI Siliwangi Bandung. The journal serves as a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research, theoretical studies, and innovative practices in the field of Islamic elementary education.

JIPDI publishes original articles focusing on various aspects of primary Islamic education, including but not limited to Islamic education, learning innovation, inclusive education, curriculum development, teacher professional development, educational technology, character education, educational assessment, child development, and contemporary issues in madrasah and elementary school education.

The journal particularly welcomes studies that contribute to improving educational quality, equity, and inclusiveness within Islamic educational settings and broader educational contexts.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous double-blind peer-review process involving at least two independent reviewers to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance.

JIPDI is an open-access journal, meaning that all published articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide without subscription or payment barriers. This policy supports the broad dissemination of knowledge and promotes greater academic exchange among researchers, educators, practitioners, and policymakers.

Articles published in JIPDI are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right of first publication.
